The equality act of 2010 was put in place to help disabled people be treated fairly. To be equal with others. The act protects everyone, whatever your characteristics are. You should be deemed as equal. The different characteristics it protects are age, disability, gender reassignement, marridge, precency , race, religion, belifs, sex , sexual orentation, maternity and civil partnership.
