The purpose of this assignment is to gain a deeper understanding for historical figures and program models in early childhood education. You will learn about philosopher or theorist chosen from the list below.

Option 1: Write a 3-page, double-spaced paper about your theorist or philosopher of choice
To make sure you give proper credit to your sources, you’ll also include a reference page, including the sources where you gathered your information. There is no formatting method that you must adhere to, but please turn in neat, organized work. Please see the writing center for help with the paper if you have questions on this.

Birth/Death
Hometown/Country of origin
Education
Three quotes attributed to the person
Rationale for why you chose the quotes
Describe, in depth, at least 5 significant contributions to the ECE Field and why these contributions are important
At least one slide addressing why you chose this person to study
