Using the Internet, navigate to http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/fire/ and select a line-of-duty death (LODD) NIOSH report.
As you prepare your project, you will be required to include the following in your ARP:
The name of the NIOSH LODD Report
Identify what went wrong
Identify warning signs leading up to the event
Determine what could have been done to prevent this occurrence
List NIOSH recommendations from this report.
Add three additional recommendations and explain your rationale.
Applied Research Project Submission
Your research project must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document, written in APA format, 12pt. Times New Roman Font, Double Spaced.
Your paper must be a minimum of 5 pages, but no more than 8 pages, not including the Title page, Table of Contents, or References page(s).
Use the list of instructions above to format your research paper.
An APA formatted paper is located in your Final Project Learning Resources folder. All sources used to create your paper must be properly cited.
At a minimum, use three (3) sources in addition to your course textbook.
When you complete the ARP, please save your and submit your assignment using the following example: MOD20AssignDoeJ = (Module + Assignment Number + Last Name + First Name Initial).
