Human Variation and Diversity Activity

Sex is a biological category (male, female) and gender is a more fluid category (woman, man, transgender). Using the interactive PBS map about global concepts of gender to identify and then research another culture where there are third genders. Why is gender diversity important? Write a 3 page paper, incorporating course materials and one or more scholarly sources to support your points.

APA formatting for citations and references used in your assignment.
Typewritten in double-spaced format with a readable style and font and submitted inside the electronic classroom.
Arial 11 or 12-point font or Times New Roman styles.
Page margins Top, Bottom, Left Side and Right Side = 1 inch, with reasonable accommodation being made for special situations and online submission variances.
