Firm Analysis
Throughout this course, you have examined corporate finance and the financial structure of an enterprise. Specific areas of study have included understanding the goals of a firm, corporate structure, working capital management, calculating the value of a firm, applying capital budgeting techniques, understanding the firms cost of capital, analyzing dividend policy, and studying the optimal capital structure in order to maximize a firms value. For your final project, you will be utilizing all of those skills to complete a firm analysis.

Specific Assignment Directions
For this assessment, research a stock exchange listed firm (on the ) and use their most recent 10k annual report to use as the basis of a firm analysis. This analysis should be a 12- to 15-page paper that comments on and analyzes the following:

Be specific throughout your firm analysis. For example, address the following for 5 points:

Include a firm introduction and any recent significant events.

Discuss the type of corporate structure and organization that is being used.

Does the firm have a conservative or aggressive working capital management approach?

What is the firms intrinsic valuation as compared to the market value?

Does the firm use NPV and IRR capital budgeting techniques?

What is the firms WACC?

Discuss the firms dividend policy. 

Does the firm have an optimal capital structure and how is it determined?   

Does the capital structure make sense? 

Is the firm increasing in value?

Include an overall summary as to the firms financial position that presents strengths and weaknesses, and include any conclusions/recommendations you may have.

Include a graph of the firms stock price for the past 5 years.
