Strengthening your empathy circuits:
• Imagine someone in your life who recently upset or angered you just enough to have had a lasting impact.
• On a scale of 1-10, how distressed do you feel thinking about this situation?
• Using your imagination, try to understand their point of view and the context of their lives that might influence how they approach situations differently to you.
• Rate your level of distress again. Has it changed?
