As a hospice nurse, I once experienced a conflict between Physician-nurse while in my line of duty. The conflict rose when nurse declined to follow physicians-prescribed instruction to give an effective sedative to a 47-year patient.  The patient’s wife, patient, and the doctor had earlier decided to start precise sedation to the patient to hasten death. A nurse working previous shift felt prickly with the direction as well since it appeared extreme at that point in the patient’s condition progress. Some strategies had to be applied to solve the conflict. I am a Hospice Nurse.
