Now that you have a basic understanding of what the Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose (CRAAP) Test is and how to effectively search for information online, it is time to apply this method to the evaluation of web sources. In this assignment, you are tasked with locating three websites that will help you answer your research question. Two of these websites must pass all five criteria of the CRAAP Test.

Using the                     Determine the Quality of Information Worksheet, you will apply the elements of the CRAAP test to your chosen websites. Our classrooms are filled with students who come from diverse backgrounds.  When we get to know our students and their families, we strengthen the home-school connection, which research has reported leads to increased student achievement.   Using information gained the textbook readings and the required article, Can Preschool Children be Taught a Second Language?, explain strategies that effectively support students who are learning a second language.  You can use the textbook andthe recommended article, Responding to Linguistic and Cultural Diversity, to support your discussion.

Advocacy enables, empowers, and encourages members to become involved in change.

To prepare:

Think about different leadership, change, and advocacy  perspectives as they relate to the agency you selected for your Capstone  Project.

 

Post a brief description of your agency the United Nations Environmental Protection. Describe at least three distinctions in how the leadership perspective might differ from either the change or advocacy perspectives as they relate to your agency. Explain the implications of these differences on the actions you might take and on the potential results as they relate to the agency. Be specific, and provide examples to illustrate your points.
