As you read through Unit I, you gained insights about the structure and process of health policymaking in the United States as well as the role of policy and law in the health of individuals and public health. This assignment will ensure you gain a better insight to healthcare policy and the policymaking process.

For this assignment, identify a specific federal or state healthcare policy (e.g., a state children’s health insurance program, Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
