criticism of performance – nursing homework essays

There are are countless critiques written by researchers, human resources management associations, managers, and consultants regarding performance appraisals.  For this assignment, you will write a two page analysis surrounding the topic of performance management.  Use the following as a guide for this week’s assignment: 
1) Read the article Why Most Performance Evaluations are Biased, and How to Fix Them, which is located in this week’s learning materials. 
2) Review three other critiques that currently appear in the literature, using such search terms as criticisms of performance management.
3) Extract the key ideas and recommendations from the four critiques you read.
4) Compare and contrast the critiques in terms of the nature of the criticism, the evidence presented in support of the criticism, and recommendations for change.
4) Take a stance on whether or not the criticism of performance management is warranted.  Make sure to defend your stance. 
Be sure to cite any and all sources you use and format your paper following APA 7th ed. guidelines.  Your paper should be 2 pages in length, not including your title and reference pages.
