The article is selected because it addresses the shortage of healthcare professionals unable to offer a standardized healthcare quality. The research topic pertains to the understanding of healthcare regarding the lack of healthcare experts acting as a hindrance to quality care. I chose the article since it relates to the topic of study, which addresses the shortage of skilled workers and its effect on geriatric medicine. It relates to the idea of scarcity of qualified healthcare givers, particularly in geriatric medicine. Thus, it indicates the relationship between scarcities of healthcare professionals on the impact of service quality rendered on patients.
